Description:

It's an Ambiance like Theme for Openbox, Lxde, Xfce, Gnome2/Mate & Gnome3 (Unity, Gnome-Shell, Gnome-Classic & Cinnamon).

The objective is to have it working very well in all that environnements with a choice of 4 flavours.

NEW : FIXES in GTK-3.0

INSTALLATION:
* open a Terminal in the folder where the file 136162-Crunchy-themes.tar.gz is
* and type the command (Ubuntu/Debian like distros):
sudo tar -zxvf 136162-Crunchy-themes.tar.gz -C /usr/share

Gnome3: setting the theme
* Unity: Ubuntu-tweak must be installed
* Gnome-Shell: Gnome-tweak (Advanced settings) must be installed and the user theme plugin activated
* Cinnamon: in preferences/cinnamon settings/Theme -> tab "Theme" + tab "other settings"

Mate (Linux Mint)
"Ubuntu Mono Dark" icons theme is not installed by default so these command lines must help you and set another icons theme:
cd /usr/share/themes
gksudo pluma 02-Crunchy-orange/index.theme 03-Crunchy-blue/index.theme 04-Crunchy-grey/index.theme 05-Crunchy-green/index.theme

Lubuntu 12.04LTS and the rounded buttons of Openbox
The buttons are not displayed well by default in that version of Lubuntu. You have to delete the config file (~/.config/openbox/lubuntu-rc.xml). Then you open your Openbox GUI setting manager to set back the theme, the 11pt Ubuntu fonts,..

Dependances
* gtk-2.0 : murrine engine
* gtk-3.0 : unico engine
(check in your distro packages)

Changelog:

2010: Openbox theme + gtk2 theme later on

2012
* theme rewritten with gtk3 and Xfce/Lxde support
* gnome2/mate compatibility checked
* new Gnome-shell Theme
* new Cinnamon Theme
* flavour orange added

2013
January: new Gtk3 theme
April : new Openbox theme
Gtk-3.0: fix of Nautilus (for Ubuntu 13.04)
Cinnamon 1.6 is fixed
Fixes in GTK-3.0

Thank you very much ! The basic environment of Xfce is really bad for the eyes. Now, I can enjoy xubuntu with the traditional ubuntu theme.

Good bye ubuntu 12.04 and unity !
Wellcome Xubuntu 12.04

Best regards,

in the folder /Crunchy-orange/gtk-2.0/apps, you have a file "panel (to have black bg in panel).rc".

It's from an old version of the theme.. I had some issues with it but it can be a way for you to find how to make it black...

now I've managed to put the panel and the menu in black :). The only thing I need is to know change the window decoration (title bar).

If you\\\'re using the standard window manager in xfce, in the folder "xfwm4" you have the file themerc. In it, you can set the text colors. The font is set in the settings manager of XFCE.

If you\\\'re using compiz, you\\\'ll have to set it in the folder metacity-1 in the file metacity-theme-1.xml (The "draw_ops.." lines are here for that). And to have this window decorator activated, you\\\'ll have to install and launch :
* in Xubuntu 12.04 : gconf-editor (the theme is set in apps > metacity > general)
* in Xubuntu 12.10 : dconf-tools (the theme and font settings are in org > gnome > desktop > wm > preferences)
